We rescued Max and Ellie from this guy who was getting rid of them on July 20, 2011. The kids are in 7th heaven now and it makes me happy that we are going to give 2 doggies a better life experience. We were told that Max and Ellie (formerly known as Spot and Scooby (but not responding to the name????)) were a year old and that she was spayed. Our vet told us a different story. They are 5, nobody is neutered and they are totally afraid of people, kids, indoors, outdoors as they were kept for a long time (or always) in an outdoor pan. Almost a month later, the dogs are happier, they are learning to use the doggie door and go potty outside, but Max is still afraid of the kids.
